8:00 – 8:30 AM: Our car and tour guide will pick you up at the city center to begin the Hue full-day tour: Hue Citadel – Tam Giang Lagoon.

1. Hue Citadel – Imperial City

    8:30 AM: Our first destination on the Hue sightseeing tour is the Imperial City, also known as Hue Citadel. Built in 1802 by the first king of the last Vietnamese feudal dynasty – King Gia Long. This is the living and working place of 13 Kings of Nguyen Dynasty, starting with King Gia Long and ending in 1945 after King Bao Dai announced abdication. It served as the capital of the Nguyen Dynasty for 140 years, showcasing unique imperial architecture and gardens.

2. Hue Ancient Garden House

    10:00 AM: Hue Citadel – Tam Giang Lagoon Tour will take our esteemed guests to the Ancient Hue Garden House. Here, you will explore the unique architecture and feng shui, and delve into the historical value of the residence and workplace of the Nguyen Dynasty’s officials. Despite enduring hundreds of years of historical upheavals, the Ancient Hue Garden House has remarkably preserved its quaint and extraordinary beauty. Visiting this place, you will experience a different world amidst the bustling city.

3. Thien Mu Pagoda

Time: 10:50 AM

    We will proceed to the Thien Mu Pagoda – the most sacred ancient pagoda in Central Vietnam. Nestled on Ha Khe hill, on the left bank of the Perfume River in Huong Long village, it is about 5 km west of Hue city. Thien Mu Pagoda is hailed as one of the most beautiful and ancient pagodas in Hue. Here, you will discover its beautiful architecture and our professional tour guide will share its history along with mystical stories about this pagoda.

    11:30 AM: At the conclusion of the morning, Brothers Travel‘s vehicle and guide will take you to board a dragon boat for a serene cruise along the Perfume River to admire the picturesque scenery and enjoy the dreamy Hue cuisine, featuring dishes such as boiled pork with shrimp paste, gourd soup or shrimp cooked with vegetables, caramelized fish, white rice, spring rolls, fried eggs, stir-fried vegetables, and dessert.

   12:30 PM: Return to the dock, where the car will transfer you back to your hotel for lunch break.

In the afternoon: Hue Citadel – Tam Giang Lagoon Tour

    2:00 PM: Tour guide and vehicle will pick you up at your hotel. The journey continues to Tam Giang Lagoon.

    2:30 PM: Located about 8km from Hue city center in the direction of Thuan An beach. The first stop is Uncle Ho’s memorial house – a place that holds many memories of Ho Chi Minh President and his youth living with his father.

    3:00 PM: The group moves to Ru Cha mangrove forest – famous for its magical beauty and is known as the only rare primary mangrove forest that still exists in the largest lagoon system in Southeast Asia. You are free to visit, walk and take photos with the wild beauty of the forest.

    4:00 PM: Car and tour guide take the group to Chuon lagoon which is a part of Tam Giang lagoon. Coming here, visitors will have great experiences with a number of boating, fishing activities, kayaking,etc with local people.

    5:00 PM: Enjoy dinner with a seafood menu at Chuon lagoon specialty’s “Fish Pancakes”.

Along with that, a moment not to be missed is watching the sunset. Warm sunlight like a giant egg sinking into the water will be a wonderful natural spectacle.

   6:00 PM: The boat takes you back to the wharf, the car takes you back to the city.
